Project Overview
In the year 1353 (according to the Iranian calendar, equivalent to 1974-1975 Gregorian), the grand Tochal Telecabin project was initiated through the efforts of Iranian specialists and in collaboration with the French company Poma. This national project, with the aim of developing tourism and creating a recreational space for enthusiasts of nature and winter sports, was put into operation in the year 1357 (1978-1979 Gregorian). Since then, it has become one of the symbols of the capital and a unique tourist attraction in Iran.
Tochal Telecabin, with a length of 7500 meters, is considered one of the longest gondola lift lines in the world. This telecabin, with 7 stations and 3 main lines, takes visitors from an altitude of 2000 meters to the 3932-meter Tochal summit, showcasing breathtaking views of the Alborz Mountains and the city of Tehran.
In addition to the cable car, the Tochal complex offers other facilities that enhance the visitor experience:
Chairlift (Telesiege): Three chairlift lines at different stations provide easier access to various points on the mountain.
Ski Lift (Teleski): The Tochal ski resort, with suitable facilities for both professional and beginner skiers, is a popular destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
Mountain coaster : The Tochal Mountain coaster, with its thrilling twists and turns, offers visitors a unique experience of speed and excitement.
The Telecabin Iran Company has proudly played a role in the construction and development of this national project and has always strived to create a memorable experience for visitors by providing quality services.
